Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actress best known for playing Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired from 2015 until present. In the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she portrayed the 13-year-old Lebanese American actress Jasira that goes through a tumultuous existence in the backdrop of the U.S. invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War. In 2007, she was selected by Variety to be one of their 10 actors to watch. She portrayed another highly-rated character Taslima Jahangir in the 2009 action drama Crossing Over for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female lead category. In addition, she was a co-lead and guest in Lucky 7 and other films including the film Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star.
